Graecae quaedam versiones habent Βεελζέβουλ, forte in vilipendium Idoli; quasi vocarent eum Iovem stercoreum, Zebel enim stercus denotat, Thom. Godwyn. de Ritibus Hebr. l. 4. c. 3.
